Habits are one of the most fundamental aspects of life that creates who we are as we repeatedly do. As there are good habits that allow us to grow and prosper, bad habits degrade us over time. To bring positive results in our life, it’s essential to implement positive habits. Not only do our lives get better, but we also feel better as we do these habits.

Below are some of the habits that I’ve done over the past few years that allowed me to become who I am today and I’m grateful that I took these habits seriously in the beginning.

Although some habits seem too obvious, recall your previous days and see if you’ve done the following repetitively. What matters most is to do the habits consistently overtime to bring out the best results.

1. Making Bed In The Morning

One thing I do as soon as I wake up in the morning is to make my bed. It’s an effortless act that everyone can do to jumpstart their days with positivity. Making the bed boosts your self-confidence and allows you to take the next action more smoothly.

Making the bed is ultimately my go-to habit I implement everywhere I go. It clears my mind and allows me to think straight because the bed is in clean shape. It also gives me the sense that I’ve already completed the first task of the day, leading me to the next habits. It’s like a chain effect, after all.

2. Listening To Online Courses or Podcasts

During my commute or after work, I always listen to one course or one episode of a podcast. The first reason is to use my time more wisely. The second reason is to gain more knowledge in many areas of life.

By listening to online courses and podcasts, you get better in life. If you watch an online course on how to draw, then you will draw better. If you listen to a podcast about side-hustle, then you’ll likely start one or be better at the current ones. I’m glad that there are endless topics that we can learn online and listen to/watching every day; it can upgrade our skill sets and make us more skillful in many aspects…
